Since summer 2008 they have performed in numerous well-known Berlin venues including Clärchen's Ballhaus (Spiegel Saal), Jazz Club Schlot, and the Teehaus am Englischen Garten.
The individual members of Zeebra Libra come from a variety of musical backgrounds and have worked with well-known orchestras and musicians from both Classical and Popular genres. A few examples: Bayerisches Rundfunkorchester, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Jazzanova, Robbie Williams, Till Brönner, Andrea Bocelli, Patricia Kaas, Sir Simon Rattle, Cirque du Soleil, and with the house band of the Burj al'Arab hotel, Dubai.
Two of the founding members performed for several years with the house orchestra of the legendary German Dinner Theatre show "Pomp Duck and Circumstance" and in that context took part in major gala productions, including the re-opening of the Brandenburg Gate in 2003 with a live audience of more than 100,000 and a world-wide TV simulcast (special guest: Bill Clinton), events on the MS Europa cruise ship, the Russian Embassy in Berlin, and many others.
Truly international, with members from France, Canada, England and Germany, Zeebra Libra combines exotic rhythms and lilting melody, using a palette of violin, accordion and clarinet, alongside the intimate vocals of singer Constance Scannell, originally from France: authentic,
stylish and sophisticated.
